Job Description

Skills required

Essential

  • 2 years or more in consulting with excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Strong organisational skills

  • Ability to prioritise, work under pressure, and meet strict deadlines.

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.

  • Experience with problem-solving and analytics (be willing to share experiences to back this up)

  • Comfortable to work in a small team.

  • Committed to the highest ethical standards.

Desirable

  • High energy and results-oriented

  • A self-motivated and committed individual.

  • Able to keep critical stakeholders informed of progress and issues.

  • Experience in designing professional external-facing reports.

Attainment

  • University degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.

  • Completion of the NYSC programme with a certificate.

Knowledge

Essential

  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

  • Strong understanding of market research, financial modelling, and strategy articulation.

  • Knowledge of the digital payments landscape, finance, and strategy

Desirable

  • Project Management discipline (e.g., Risk/Issue identification and tracking, time, and budget management)

  • Zoho suites

Relevant experience

Essential

  • Prior experience working for a global management consulting company or financial institution.

  • Firsthand experience in Project management, Business Analysis, and/or technology implementation projects

  • Exposure to strategy development and data-driven decision-making.

Desirable

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

  • Ability to work independently on own initiative and to contribute as part of a team.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research, data analysis, and financial modelling to support client projects.

  • Assist in developing business strategies and recommendations based on data-driven insights.

  • Prepare presentations, reports, and dashboards to communicate findings effectively.

  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business challenges and provide solutions.

  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to enhance consulting methodologies.

  • Support project management tasks, including tracking deliverables and timelines.
