Job Description

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented NYSC Corps Member to join our team as Operations Support Officer. This role is designed to provide general assistance across the team, including Learning & Development, Tech Support, and Executive Operations.

You’ll work closely with key team members to help with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks. It’s a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment while building valuable professional skills.

Skills required

Essential
  • Currently enrolled in or preparing to begin the NYSC programme.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

  • Good communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Zoho Workspace tools.

  • Ability to multitask and work under minimal supervision.

Desirable
  • Design or presentation software skills (e.g. Canva, PowerPoint).

  • Basic knowledge of project management tools or platforms.

Attainment

Essential
  • Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Project Management, Computer Science, Social Sciences, or related fields.

Desirable
  • Certifications in administrative support, tech support or learning management.

Knowledge

Essential
  • Understanding of administrative processes and tech support basics.

  • Awareness of office logistics and general operations.

Desirable
  • Strong interest in learning and development, corporate training, or edtech.

Relevant experience

Essential
  • Academic or internship experience in L&D, administration, tech, or customer support roles.

  • Experience working on group projects or volunteering.

Desirable
  • Experience supporting executives, handling logistics or communications.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist with coordinating training sessions, webinars, and managing learners’ communication.

  • Help prepare presentation materials and learning resources.

  • Assist with managing online platforms, basic troubleshooting and other technical tasks.

  • Undertake administrative tasks including meeting scheduling, documentation, and inbound & outbound correspondence handling.

  • Help manage office logistics including travel arrangements and inventory management.

  • Maintain organised filing systems, both digital and physical.
